JoAnna Jackson is a mixed-media artist living in St. Louis, Missouri. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and has always had a love of the visual arts especially fiber art. Joanna Currently works between acrylic fine art on canvas and mixed media art, with a love of anything paper and fiber. JoAnna is also a paper marbler and book maker, using her own marbled papers in her book making. She has circled back around to fiber arts, a love from her youth, and found a marriage in embroidery, dyed fabrics and book making. Most recently JoAnna has added ebroidery pattern designer to her arts. " I feel between the paper, canvas and thread ALL your emotions can be expressed." JoAnna has previously shown works at Damselfly Gallery in Midway, Ky. and the Shelbyville Art Gallery in Shelbyville, Ky. She has been a commissioned artist for Habitat for Humanity in Atlanta, Ga.
